The Three Tiers
Shopping for cabinets, you'll run into three options. Stock comes pre-built in fixed sizes — cheapest and fastest, but you're stuck with three-inch jumps and filler strips. Semi-custom adds sizes and finishes but still comes from a fixed catalog. Full custom, what we do, is built to your exact space with your choice of everything.
Where Stock Falls Short in Midland
In most Midland kitchens, stock leaves dead corners, filler gaps, and wasted vertical space. The material is usually particle board that swells the first time it meets water, and the finishes are limited. For a rental or a starter house that's fine. For a home you plan to keep, it often means replacing sooner than you'd like.
When Custom Pays Off
Custom earns its keep when your kitchen is an odd size, when you want specific storage, or when you just want it to last decades and look exactly right. You use every inch, and solid-wood construction built for our dry air still works like new years later. Not sure which tier fits your budget? Call (432) 755-5361 and we'll walk the kitchen with you.
